Garrett Gilley

   This is a two page spread that was required to look presentable and catchy standing alone. I chose a story that I thought I could find in National Geographic. The goal here was to focus on the placement and design of mass body copy for print. The first spread had to be something like the cover of a book to grab the attention of readers and give a face to the story. The second spread had to bring the audience to a conversation with that face. All gutters and orphans are accounted for. The only critique I got on this project was that it could have looked better if there was not so much room around the pull out quote.
